Dear Friends of Living Influence,

I am heavy-hearted as I write this note today. Due to some circumstances we could have never predicted, Living Influence will be closing its doors as of September 1, 2011. For nearly 10 years, we have seen lives transformed and yet, our vision had yet to reach its fullness, which is why it feels like such a loss for me personally, as well as for Nancy Carlson.

Nancy has been our therapist on staff for several years now, as I moved into a speaking role, as well as had (almost) 3 babies. We saw many, many people touched by the heart of God in our work together. Currently, I am due with our 3rd child in just a few weeks. Nancy experienced the tragic loss of her husband of 40 years to a sudden heart attack on July 1st, and she has determined that she is unable to return to counseling at this time. She needs time to grieve and heal, and I completely support and understand her decision. With both of us unable to counsel at this time, the decision has been clear to forego our office space and trust God with what is to come in the future.

If you are a client and need a referral, we are highly recommending Transforming Resources founded by Kip Wahlquist, with offices in both Eden Prairie and Bloomington, as an excellent alternative. They do phenomenal therapy that is Christ-centered and professional. I could not more highly recommend an organization. You can contact them directly to consult with them or set up an appointment.
